Donation Incentive Ideas for Your Streams
Hey everyone!
One of the best ways to boost donations on your stream is to offer incentives to your viewers. This makes the fundraising more interactive and helps donors feel like a bigger part of the fundraising. So here are some of the ideas that the team has used to boost fundraising over the years. Feel free to use these yourself and modify them to best fit your stream! Happy Hunting!
For those with a webcam:
- Make a balloon animal
- Do a magic or card trick
- Exercise- pushups, sit ups, jumping jacks, squats, etc
- Feed a treat to your pet
- Eat spoonfuls/jars of baby food, Beanboozled beans, spicy or sour foods (safely), foods you hate
- Play with winter gloves or oven mitts on
- Play blindfolded Drunk goggles, kaleidoscope glasses
- Wear a fun hat
- A Wheel Of DOOM – https://wheelofnames.com/ is easy to set up
- Stick googly eyes on your face
For those with NO webcam:
- Tell a joke or pun
- Sing a song
- Recite a poem
- Read a page from a book
- Say a tongue twister 10 times fast
- Pronounce a difficult word
- Draw something in
- Paint on stream, maybe let donors choose
- Do a voice impersonation for a few minutes
- Create a donor board/wall/book and write their name down, take a picture and post it
- Switch mouse/keyboard hands or turn your controller upside down
- Sell equipped item(s) or all inventory
- Read a selection of chat messages in an overly dramatic, overacted way
- Play the game acting like a news anchor
- Let chat choose your next item farm
- Respec your character, maybe let chat choose which skill tree
- Let donator choose an item to refarm
- Decrease FoV all the way
- Say 6-7 if someone donates $6.70 or $67.00
- Throw next item off cliff and refarm
- Drop random equipped item (wheel spin?)
- Watch a video the donor picks
- Donator role in your Discord server
- Physical arts or crafts (if you’re comfortable making and shipping them)
- Add donator name to one of your stream scenes
- Custom chat command for the donator
BIGGER MILESTONE
- Do a book report, maybe have a poll in Tiltify for what book Write an essay on The Hunt and what it means to you
- Create a slideshow music video or Powerpoint Play a scary game or one you REALLY don’t like (Fortnite, Roblox, Elden Ring/soulslike)
- Do a game key giveaway – sites like Fanatical have random game key bundles you can buy cheap
- Create a piece of artwork Giveaway of a physical item (if you’re comfortable shipping to donors)
- RESTART THE HUNT (make this a BIG number)
